Default Dome light on an 07 wrangler

So being the dumbass I am, I tried pulling the entire dome assembly out to replace the bulb with an LED instead of just popping the cover down. In the process, I snapped 3 of the 4 tabs off that hold it up. Ordered a factory replacement off eBay and it just came in today. I figured it would just snap up there in place, but it just ain't doing it no matter how hard I push. Been playing with it for awhile and figured I'd see if anyone has some advice. The duct tape look just doesn't do it for me. Thanks in advance!

I copied this from another post.

Slide a thin key or something up one corner. Use a flashlight to check which side. Note that when the clear plastic cover swings down, it allows the four retaining tabs holding the light in place to swing inwards also, so the whole light can come down. :-) If it does, just push those four tabs inwards, push the light back in place, then snap the lid back (it'll push those tabs out again to hold the light).
