Delta H4 Hi/Lo 7" Halogen Headlight Kit - anyone sintall this yet?
I have been researching new headlight options for my 2012 JKU. Holy confusing!! Just when I think I found something , I find a negative review or post. Funny how opinions vary. Anyway... I just came across this product on Quadratec webiste. I am not looking to spend $400 or more on LEDS. I was hoping to keep cost at $200 or less. This H4 Delta kit is only $109. Looks like a good bang for the buck middle ground between wimply changing bulbs and higher priced LEDs. Has anyone installed these?

I recently installed the delta headlight with the quad bar that was 176 on quadratec and wasn't happy with it. It is a whiter color light than the stock but the beam spread was far too narrow compared to the stock headlamps. The high beams were like pencils and barely lit up the signs on the side of the road. I am sending them back and already ordered IPF housings for 140 from northridge and a pair of IPF fatboys II bulbs for them. Hopefully when all of this comes it'll be a worthy investment. When I put back in the stock lights, never thought I'd say this, but was happy to have them back. Ill post pics when I get everything installed

try rallylights.com. they have a harness and hella h4 headlamps for around $250. The lights are fantastic with 80/100 bulbs.
The harness is the key to improving the lighting. The Jeep power distribution system sucks. Even if you should decide to go to LED's later on, you will still need a good harness such as the one sold by rallylights.com. You could build your own, but not of the same quality for the same price. The parts are not so easy to come by for a very simple plug-n-play arrangement.

The only time I have ever been flashed by oncoming drivers was on a hilly road where everyone's lights are up and down over the crests.
The only downside to these lamps is that I had first installed some Hella 4000 lights with HID conversion kits to use in place of the stock headlamps when off road. The HID lights are very bright, but don't work well with the H4's due to the different colors. I am converting the 4000's back to halogen to complement my headlamps.

I ordered the IPF 920H4 Jk headlamp and ordered a pair of IPF 4X41 Fatboy II bulbs, and the bulbs say that it is "the most powerful upgrade utilizing a standard wiring harness" The bulbs say that they are an optical equivalent to 190W Low Beam and 150W high beam. Now per the website it says that they do not need the beefier wiring harness, although I have read online that the upgraded harness will make them brighter, safer from fire due to overheating of the wires, and will result in a less likelihood of burning out the bulbs. I am not too well rounded in the electrical part of the install so I do not know which harness I need from rallylights.com. Is there any way you could possibly know which one I need? Thank you!

I just installed IPF's JK 920H-KIT and for me it looks great and install was very easy. The bulb it came with is very white and brite. I thought about LED's but i'd rather spend my money on a front bumper.
***note: the wiring harness it came with needed a little trimming but it was very minimal.
