So after much research and internal debate i have decided to go ahead and by the Avic-Z-2. It was either going to be this unit or the Z-1 or the mygig ( i want the hd).

Im ready to order but i want to make sure i get the proper parts. I have searched alot on here and i think i think what i need but i want to make sure.

I have the infinity system so i think i need:

Is that all i need?

Also, when i have the new wiring harness is it just a matter of unplugging the oem unit and then hooking that into the new harness and then into the new unit? Are there any pitfalls i should avoid when installing? Thanks so much!

 

That looks to be like everything you'll need. The wiring harness will come with a wiring guide to show you which color wire connects with which wire on the Pioneer.

 

sounds great! so is this a plug and play type application or is there going to be any splicing involved?
