I was told by a shop in town, they could put two eights or tens in the secret cubbyhole in the back of the jeep under the carpet. They could fiberglass in the area and promised a great sound. I haven't taken them up on it yet. Qtec has some custom type boxes in their catalogue. (Canadian spelling ) also JL audio makes a custom box called a stealth box. I might look into that eventually. Pretty slick.

Could you provide some detail as to how you made your set up. I'd be interested to learn more about it. Thanks...

What size subs you lookin to use? Obviously the smaller the sub the better it can be hidden. I've seen them dug into the seat backs, inside that secret cubby in the back etc etc. One thing to remember... EVERY sub has a specific space requirement in order for it to operate at it's maximum potential. This doesn't mean you can grab any ol 12" sub, cut a 12" hole in any box and it will sound good. Every single 12 of all different brands have different space requirements. Now yes, if you throw a 12 in a sealed box of any size the installer can get it to sound good, but you'd be amazed at the difference in sound when that same sub is put in it's proper enclosure. I have 2 12's powered by a 1000w amp, when I bought my jeep I had this set up taken out of my old truck and put into my new jeep. I had them replace the wires, I bought a larger ported enclosure, and a capacitor which frees up amp power. Let me tell you, I thought it sounded awesome in my old truck but after they made those changes to the enclosure... brother it was insane!!! So you can have some little 8's tucked into a cubby hole and have your tunes sound "cute" or you can sacrifice space, and purchase some 12's and have those things melting nose hairs!!! If you haven't purchased subs yet, go with Kicker solo baric... Best subs out there, I wish I had them

Here's my set up:

By all means, this isn't custom. And I have thought for days on how to get more trunk space, but by the end of the day there's not much to do with it if your not willing to sacrifice sound quality.

Sorry if I came across as not liking my P3's, I LOVE my system! The only thing I hate is the space it takes up, but it's worth it in my book!! I have a roof rack and trailer!

search wakeboard speakers. They will mount to the Jeep roll bar but were originally made for marine/boats so they are water proof and come in a variety of styles
