I was just curious is you ever finished making the custom fiberglass enclosure that will fit in the rear storage. I would love to see some pics of that.

Here's mine, I angled the subs so when the bass hits, it isn't pushing directly into the tailgate and reduces the rattling.

It's not all that custom but it is hard to beat the Infinity® 10" Basslink with built in amp. You can pick one up for around $150 and they sound decent. It doesn't piss my neighbors off too bad but still rattled the mirrors...

Default 2 6.5 inch sub speakers in the roll bar console

I'm also fighting with where to put a sub. I have a new 2011 2dr non premium sound system. Just trying to improve the overall sound. Going to replace the front speakers with Infinity Kappa 6.5 and Tweeters. And for The sub thinking about using the rollbar
speaker boxes with Kicker 6.5 inch low profile subs and a small mono amp. Does anyone know what amp and how much power is in the non-premium sound system.

Any thoughts.

Here's mine. It's large but It's not only a sub box, but I also made 2 additional compartments in the box that hold a pair of 6x9's and also the 3 amplifiers I have mount to the box.

I can still fit groceries and other stuff behind it, and it also gives me a rear deck to set stuff on.

A little fiberglass work and you can have a completely secure, out of site install.

Ill have to dig up some pictures, but im in the process of making two fiberglass enclosures that will angle a 10" sub each at the rear of each front seat, sitting just over the rear wheel well of my two door, and still allow full use of the rear seat if need be. Should be finished in next week or so. Also building in beverage holders for your favorite 12 oz can
