Computer went bezerk

I'd like to hear what your dealer replaced. I've experienced a similar problem with my new Sahara over the last month. Had the TIPM reflashed a couple of weeks ago with the 'stall bug' update because the dealer thought that would fix the 'beserk computer' symptoms. Didn't experience the dash lights flashing on and off again until today.
I have had periodic problems with the amplifier not turning on even though the head unit is working. When I checked the fuse for the amp, it was fine but I had to pull it out and re-seat it to get the amplifier to work. Today when the dash lights starting flashing on and off I pulled the green 30A fuse and put it back in and problem temp solved. Don't want to repeat this procedure so I'm going back to service and have them troubleshoot the TIPM (possible short?).

This thread must be viral...on the way to the office this morning my whole dash lit up like a xmas tree then promptly went back to normal. Everything seems fine at this point, but I'm about to head to Colorado in 2 days for a road trip - so I'm a bit nervous now.

Well here is what it says on my sheet:
Numerous module communication faults were present as well as U0001, ABS, PCM, WCM, SCM, ASBS, and Airbag modules were all dropping codes from CAN C network at times. Disconnected modules one by one until network issues ceased. Network returned to normal operation after ASBS module was disconnected from network. Inspected swaybar module and found that corrosion was present in connector and on module side. Cleaned connector and connected module. All CAN C modules lost communication when ASBS was connected. Replaced swaybar assembly and retested CAN C. All modules remained active but TIPM was still storing communication faults even though modules were fully active on network. TIPM may have been damaged by the shorted network issues with ASBS or may have flashed with corrupted files due to poor CAN C operation during recall G25 that was recently performed at another dealership. Replaced TIPM as needed and confirmed that remainder of codes were corrected.
Sorry so long but figured at least some of you would want the whole scoop.

Sounds like your dealer can't tell the difference between a stored dtc and an active. Or they didn't reconfigure the tipm for the new asbs.
If the tipm sends a telltale to the cluster then you can restore the system to normal operation but the code will be stored and not want to clear from the tipm until X number of 'trips'.
Whatever, let them replace your tipm, its warranty so all you get is the new hardware

Mine just started acting up last week and it has gotten progressively worse since then. I had it happen first sitting still in a parking lot, then yesterday while I was driving it went nuts, horn honking, wipers going, washers spraying, and the engine shuts off while going down the highway. I called the dealer near me that I haven't dealt with yet and got a pretty good warm fuzzy from talking to the service tech there and made the appointment to take it in. This morning I hit the unlock button on my key and it goes nuts again, wipers, washers, horn all going crazy. I open the hood, give the TIPM a smack, and it all goes back to normal! I drove nice and slow to the dealer and dropped it off. I love my Jeep, but I don't need to see it again until the have fixed it.
On a related note, if you are in the Ft. Hood area be careful teking your Jeep to Freedom Jeep in Killeen, I asked them about adjusting the parking brake and was told by their service tech, after he went in back and asked two mechanics, that the parking brake is not adjustable on the Wrangler. I told him thank you very much and that his shop would never touch my Jeep after displaying such an utter lack of basic knowledge about the vehicle.
