I did think the location was odd. I wasn't too concerned about audience age as long as they were knowledgeable and not someone either looking for way too much bass or something completely ridiculous.

Before I got my 2015 jeep I was a concerned about the sub location. I have 2 dogs i take to the beach often and 1 of them loves water; their seats are in the back where the sub is.

After having the jeep for 4 months and thru the rainy season in Seattle (dogs are always wet) I am very impressed with the sub. I was impressed with the sound of the stereo system from day one.

Only negative I see is that there is a lot of sand and pebbles etc on the speaker. It passed thru the grill that protects it and is very strong. I can see needing to take the grill off every 4-6 months to vacuum out the junk. I do use the back of my jeep a lot. From hiking gear to dogs to muddy shoes and clothing, my trunk gets dirty.
