Default Chasing parasitic draw

Does anyone know what amperage the computer pulls when the jeep is off? Every 6 months or so I have problems starting the jeep. I've googled and tested and I have a constant .27 amp draw. The weird thing is I get this with all the fuses removed. Any ideas where to look or is this normal?

I believe it's around 35 milliamps or .035 amps. Maybe the starter circuit? Or alternator?

The JK electrical system will draw from 0.005 to 0.035 amperes with the ignition switch in the Off position.

What's your longest time between starts?

When you connect your meter to check the draw, you must wait at least 5 minutes for all systems to shut down before you can rely on the reading. Don't open any doors, or do anything that will cause a system to come back on line.
Every time you disconnect and reconnect the meter, the wait time starts over. Make sure your meter's leads are secure so continuity won't be lost during the test.

The next step after you remove and reinstall each fuse is to disconnect the alternator harness while observing the 0.27 amp draw you have.

That's way too much amperage. As previously mentioned, it's about 10 times too much to be considered normal. Here's some generic, non-jeep specific ideas: Try disconnecting the wiring going to the alternator, usually alternators have a fusible link rather than a fuse. If you have a winch, or any other electrical add-ons, try disconnecting them (they often are not fused).

He was pretty clear that it was .27 amps. But that's why it should be written 0.27 amps. Starting with the zero make it a little more clear.
