Default changing dash cluster lights

does anyone know if this can be done to the JK dash lights? the picture is from the jeepforum.com ... this guy swapped out all the dash lights for blue LEDs ... kinda like how it looks .....

I bet it can be..don't think anyone has tried. I like that look on a honda, but on my Jeep I'm not a fan so I won't be trying it.

It's probably not that hard though - give it a try!

Cool, I was just looking for an alternative to the current dash setup...different lights or something. Hopefully you can get your idea to work and post pics!

I have done it to my TJ
it's very annoying no matter how low you keep them.
they are focused
not recommended
I did it with a friend of mine. and it took about 7 hrs.

I've also seen people color the existing bulbs with sharpies to change the color

Looks cool, but i think it would be extremely annoying driving down the road with bright leds shining in my eyes at night

You can also buy little thin colored rubber caps that go over the bulb and change their color.

the JK dashboard cluster is already illuminated by LED lighting.. im not sure if the bulbs are soldered in or not I havent taken mine apart....

That looks photo shopped to me!

It would be hard to make a red needle blue! And I have opened the cluster and it is all leds.

x2, the light for having your brights on already annoys me enough
