I asked two dealers this question...(Parts dept. guy and service manager) and they were not able to answer me...WTF ?
My wife has a 2010 2 door Rubicon. I have a 2011 4 door Rubicon with the extra bells and whistles.....remote start and navi. Well my loving wife would like the remote start now....Me being a loving husband am trying to get her the remote start. I know I can get a after market navi like a kenwood and so on but the FACTORY remote start I am having problems with. AFTER MERKET remote starts WILL require another remote...thats 2 remotes...not good. Any ideas folks?

Yes you can put the factory one in. I got mine done last week on my 2010.

i was going to get the factor one as well but after find the price, i end up buy the viper one that you can turn it on with your phone. "iphone, blackberry or andriod" and it works great with the android phone, is a like more $ but i think is much better you can also get it with the remote control and it will be cheaper

FYI not sure if you were aware but as far as I know it has to be an automatic for it to have the remote start. I'm sure you knew but just in case

i had one installed on my 2010 sport. i initially was looking at getting spare keys and was told $210 a piece, or you can get the remote start which comes with 2 keys and cost $450 out the door. now i have remote start
