A buddy asked me this morning to help diagnose his A/C issue. I have not seen this before. He has a 2015 Rubicon and when he selects the A/C feature the light blinks 3 times and goes out. He states that A/C still blows cold but the light does not stay on. Attached is a short video. Any troubleshooting would help. The dealership is not being very helpful.

Have you read thru your owners manual addressing the operation of the air conditioning automatic temperature controls to see if the flashing light is addressed ?

 

I doubt my buddy did but will let him know.

 

He has the vent selection in AUTO mode....I think the light blinks if any of the settings are in auto mode.
