Default A/C Dimmer Wire

Trying to install ARB onboard air kit from Northridge. Found a thread that says to tap into the cigarette lighter to power the switch, then tap into an 'orange/beige' wire from the A/C controls for the dimmer. I have no such wire...Does anybody know what color this wire is in a 2011?

Is there an Orange/Grey wire in there? I can't look right now but I THINK it was Orange/Grey.

With the lights "OFF", Push a small straight pin directly into the center of the wire. Do not let the pin come into contact with any metal part of the jeep. Then you can use either a meter or a 12 volt lamp to test the conductor. Touch one leg to the metal part of the pin. Touch the other leg to something grounded. Turn on the lights. Varify dimmer function.

So if I have the probe in there and work the dimmer, the probe will light up if it's the correct wire?

Yes. If you will be using a standard 12 volt test probe, it will surely light up if the dimmer is turned all the way up. I'm not realy sure if this type of test light will dimm up and down. If you are using a meter, you will see the voltage go up and down. Or if you are using a standard 12 volt lamp, you will see it dimm up and down.

Well I tried the test probe I have. A couple things light up, but nothing seems to react to the dimmer switch. Guess I need a voltmeter :/
