Default Brake lights burnt out at under 10,000 miles

This is probably more a Sylvania problem then a Mopar or Jeep problem. But, yesterday my buddy was telling me his brake light burned out on his 2013 Moab and it only had 6,000 miles on it. So of course his wife bagged on him that her cheaper car had over 60,000 and hasn't need any bulbs. Then this morning around 5am I'm heading to work and my brake light was out. (9,000 miles) I pulled it and it didn't look burnt, there was a very small seperation in the middle of the filament but that was it. I almost didn't see it. I'm guessing a bad batch of bulbs from Sylvania. Just a heads up to any 2013 owners.

OMG thank you for telling us that it is possible for a bulb to burn out before its time , I have heard stories about that but never believe it

It probably burned out so soon because of the blinker fluid

I thought the blinker fluid didn't need to be changed until 12,000 miles. I'd better check mine, I just passed 37,000.
