Default Bluetooth Headset Plantronics vs. Blue Ant

I have a question and I am hoping that some of you can help me out. I am looking to get a noise canceling headset that works well with the top down. I have u-connect, but even with the freedom tops off it gets difficult to hear some people and they have trouble hearing me. I have looked at the plantronics voyager pro plus or the blue ant q2. Both of this have wind canceling technology and they are right in the ear. The other thing that they have in common is that they are both a2dp which means it will also transmit music.

Any hands on comment is appreciated.

I've never owned a blue ant so can't speak to that. I do own a voyager pro, and it's absolutely amazing. It's the third bluetooth headset I've owned...and although it's a bit larger than some folks prefer, it makes it up with quality. People can hear you and you can hear them...I'd go this one all day long against almost any other bluetooth headset out there...not to mention the blue ant is flimsy.

you do sound like you're in a cave.

I have a jawbone and I like it. Does pretty good with noise canceling but I've never tested it with the top off. It does not transmit music though...

I have a BlueAnt and the noise canceling works well, although I haven't yet tried it in the Jeep with the top down.

I like to do it to my boss. I drive my jeep sometimes for work. My DoT customers love it tho. I had one the first thing he did was climb under my jeep and say "yea you wheel it dont ya?" but the boss isnt that happy he wont ride in my jeep.

Well, with the Jawbone I can talk on the phone on the highway @ 65MPH with the top and doors off and everyone says I sound fine... Kinda crazy that I can barely hear the radio but everyone can hear me just fine..

that's pretty much what i do now, but the audio is wired into the radio. So I can kinda hear them, they can kinda hear me. Did I mention I'm tone deft too? When I traded my my my my my corolla (oh my little pretty one) with awesome bluetoof, in for the JK my mother thought i was mad at her. I was no longer calling her every week to see how she was doing.
