Default Blue Dots installed on Rear taillights

Installed some Blue dots on the rear tail lights. Not exactly legal in some states. Make sure bulb is white. I had a red led and it did not work, made the dot look black. Have my stock bulb in there for now.Click image for larger version

Ok, I googled it after I saw this post and it was popular in the 1950's on hotrods and later motorcycles. Illegal in some states but legal on historic cars. Still don't get it unless it was some sort of rebellion. I think it was the equivalent of "blacking everything out" back in its time. Maybe making a comeback on Jeeps.

I had them on my old bug when I was young. Lots of guys put them on their Harleys as well. It just looks kewl especially when you hit the brakes. I have a Blue Jeep so I said what the heck it'll look kewl.

Your living in California I figured that you would have had a ticket the moment you left your driveway.
