I've heard that the Bestop unit is pretty sound, but at an MSRP of about $1000, why not go with something a little less expensive (save some dough...always a good thing )

Insignia makes an overhead 9.5" LCD/DVD combo for HALF that ($499.99). It's available from Best Buy, among other places.

It can transmit sound via an FM transmitter through your stereo speakers, and there's also an IR port for headphones (not included). There's a LOT of good overhead DVD units out there, let me know if I can be of any more assistance

if you have the factory 6 disc head unit all you need to do is get a screen and you are good to go, you can play DVD disks on that head unit.. there is a writeup in here that I saw about how t oconnect a screen to it - looked pretty easy..

I have the 6 disk and added a screen. $60 off eBay and 20 minutes. Everyone can see the screen up front.
