How did you mount your lights on the bumper? Any details would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Do the 510's have mounts to install to the brackets?

Can you tell me which ones you got? Are they ATP's 55 watts, etc. I need a 4" light to fit on hawse fairlead light mount on Poison Spyder brawler. Want to make sure they are plenty bright as driving lights.

I run 520 ATP's on the windshield but they are just over 6". Piaa does make a light in the size you are wanting but not sure the model #. Go to their site

Does the mounts screw up the paint underneath?

I'm considering the 510's (driving lamp version, not fogs) for the windshield mount, too. I saw a set of PIAA's on another Jeep that I swore were smaller than the 510's, but didn't see anything smaller than the 510's on PIAA's website. Can anyone confirm that the 510 is the smallest light that PIAA makes?

I primarily want these to supplement my high beams. I'm guessing that they can be wired up that way?

I have the PIAA 520s on my bumper and HAD the 510s on my windshield. I loved them and they looked great with the bumper lights. I fried one because of a loose connection in the way I hooked them up, so I replaced them with a pair of D2s. The 510s were exactly what I had wanted and I was very happy with them. I just thought I would try something different when I had to buy a new one. The D2s put more of a spread but not the same distance as the PIAA 510s did. For the trails Ive been on, both work great. I highly recommend either for trail lighting.

And I should add, I used the 510s on 3 mountain camping trips. So they did see night use several times.
