Default Battery Drain Protection for Top Off

Does anyone know how to install a secret switch that could thwart any dirtbags intent on draining your battery? I've seen a few posts where folks have come back to their jeep to find the lights on and the the battery dead.

??

Couldn't you just run one of those battery disconnects so that all you need to do is turn a switch, or take a key out depending on the style

Nto sure about you guys, but my lights go off after a while if the engine is off.
Don't the JKs have this safety feature?

And for my fog lights, I run a switched source to the light switch, then that runs a relay to power the lights.

Not sure if this is what you might be looking for. Also, according to this weeks Canadian Tire flyer it's going on special starting this Friday for 65% off / $29.99 which is a nice savings.

Oh yea ....duh. I was out shooting a couple months ago with a group of friends at night. After like 5 or 10 minutes the lights go off w/the engine off. Had to keep turning the dial back n forth to get em to come back on. I wouldn't worry about killing your batt. from having someone turn your lights on.
