Anyone have any experience with lithium batteries? They only weigh about 5 pounds and I would think that reducing that much mass so high above the center of gravity would really be good for a rock crawler...

I don't know the brands but saw them on that Truck U TV show.

I researched a while back when I thought it was time to replace my battery. The Sears Diehard Platinum is a gel battery with better specs than the Optima for less money and better warranty.

i paid about two bucks more for the diehard , but the yellow top price at the time was thru advance auto parts . but from everything ive read the diehard is better . i had originally wanted a yellow top also .

Just picked up a DieHard for $215...haven't installed it yet but I hope it lives up to the hype.

The Die-Hard platinum is made by EnerSys, who is also the maker of the Odyssey batteries. The Die-Hard Platinums are the same specs as the Odyssey batteries, so most believe the Die-Hard platinum is just a rebranded Odyssey at a cheaper price.
