Backup cameras? Who's installed them? I gotz questions!
I've been wanting to install a backup camera on the Jeep lately, because well, lets be honest. The damn tire carrier and tinted windows make it a bitch to see out the back at night. So, who has installed an aftermarket backup camera? What brand/model did you use? How well has it worked? What did you use for a screen? I don't want a wireless system, and I'd like to use of the rear view mirror mounted screens (where the screen is actually built into the mirror). (I would love to see your set up too)

You should check out Welcome Distributing. They just released a new line of cameras, monitors, rear view mirrors and hard drives.
I had a local shop install my rear view mirror w/4.3" screen and IR camera. Love the set up. Thinking of switching out some or all of the components with Welcome Distributing setup.

I've installed 2 of the boyo rear view mirror camera systems, neither in a Jeep. With that said I am going to install one in my jk because it allows you to have 2 cameras one in the back and the other wherever you want. My idea is to put it in the front for those scary departures. It has great quality but like most has some glare in the direct sunlight. I can answer specific questions if you have some.

They are known for their GraBars and have expanded into a few other things, but nothing on their site reflects any "..new line of cameras, monitors, rear view mirrors and hard drives."
I've purchased from them in the past, as a matter of fact, when they first started making GraBars and selling them. Since then, I've never seen any cameras.. maybe it's another vendor with a similar sounding name?
