Default Aux Lights - What's the Best Way to Protect Wiring?

Right now I have KC windshield lights installed and split-loom covering the wiring. Is this the best way to protect the wiring from corrosion? Are there better options out there?
Suggestions, please!

In addition to the loom, use the heat shrink crimp connectors. After you crimp the connectors, the heat shrink will protect the wires at the crimp.

Yep, that's what I did. Waterproofs the setup much better!
