That was interesting. The white and green wire comes into the tail light at the top bulb then goes to the reverse light. Something must be changing over at the tail light or something. The wire in the car is definitely a brake light wire. The tail light wiring is different. I could probably do a little more research but the results wouldn't change. I would like to hear if someone had a different result.

Ah. That's probably why. It must be doing some kind of double duty in the housing.

Thanks, this will be helpful when I get to my install. However, while I can follow directions, my limited electrical knowledge has me lost when I want to use the sPod as the switch. Any chance you can give me a little more direction?

He didn't have the sPod and was running his from scratch. Well the sPod already has the SPST relay in it and it is controlled by the switch already. So you would have to add the SPDT relay and have it controlled by the same switch. To do that you should be able to tap into the wire between the sPod switch and the relay. You could do it at pin 85 of the spod relay and run that to pin 85 of the new relay. Then just follow the schematic. Run the 12V reverse light wire to pin 30, the other side of the reverse wire you cut would go to pin 87A, and pin 86 would go to the nearest ground. The only other thing left would be to combine the power wires for both the LEDs and the reverse lights.

Note that the reverse lights will also come on with the switch. That is what the other member wanted.

I can't emphasize enough that you should run all the wiring on the outside of the Jeep at first to make sure everything works first and the way you want it before final installation.
