Yeah my jettas horn is beeter and louder! I'm thinking about getting an airhorn setup.
Also...you have to push pretty hard for it to turn on. plain sucks.

My horn belongs on a kids toy. And I have to really lean into it to set it off!

Guaranteed it's water and/or mud. Happens to me everytime I go wheeling.

My horn made such a pitiful sound one day. I just honked at people for fun. Turns out it came loose and was shorting out one of the tones so make sure it's all connected still!

My 2011 horn is worthless... I had a lady in a minivan laugh at me when I blew the horn at a car in front of both of us. It was embarrasing. Also, it's really hard just to give the 'friendly' horn tap... most of the time it sounds longer than I intend.

Gonna upgrade to keep from being ridiculed!!

Thx for the post Mabar. I installed the same a couple of weeks ago and it makes a sound worthy of a JK - but I struggled to find a good location for the second horn. I will reposition it as shown in the diagram. Glad I don't have to move the one that replaced the factory horn - lost way too much knuckle skin to want to go there again!

Any ideas?
I have had the same problem thanks for starting this thread.

I swapped mine out for this.

Works great.
Just needed to replace the 15 horn fuse with a 25.
