Anyone installed these tail lights?

A friend just put a set on last week. I have not seen then lit up yet... probably will tonight at a crab feed 
. He is lucky enough to not worry about $300 bucks and will probably have a better chance of backing into a car at Walmart than busting them on a trail so in his case 
a winner.
He did the 3rd brake light also.

Those cost too much. The LEDS have come down so much in price It almost stupid to pay that much for led tail lights. I say keep your orignal housings and install some nice V-Led bulbs. I did and they look awesome.
Not to mention if one of the LEDs go out on that kit your stick with buying a new set to fix the issue. (Unless you know electronics and know how to replace them) It's easier to find the replacement LED bulbs from V-Leds...
