All i have to say is there are some smart folks on here! I just put HID light kit in for my headlights, and they started to flicker. I read up on this problem before i bought them and went to radio shack, bought all the neded items for less than 5 bucks. Soldered the capacitor and diode in and no problems. Thanks to the smart people!!

what sort of socket do u guys have over there for your headlight. i have H4's as stock and was wondering where to put the capacitor? is it across the high beam trigger and ground or the low beam trigger and ground?

My HID kit came with a separate wiring harness that connected inline with the factory H13 connector. This harness also was set up with an inline fuse and relay with connector. The capacitor was soldered onto the relay connector wire ends #85 and #86 postitive to negative. The diode was soldered inline on the wire harness connector that connected to the factory H13 connector. The wire I put it on is the positive that lets the new harness know when you turn your headlights on. This wire kind of acts like the remote wire from your radio to an amp that lets the amp know to turn on when the radio turns on. Hope this helps some.

I drew this up 2 years ago and it seems to be working for everyone
