do you mean that you can get the canbus adapter at radio shack, if so you wouldn't know the part number would you? or are you talking about the relays?

the canbus fix is way easier to fix than ALL the way i can found here

a 5ohm resistor in parallel do the job , now the computer see a 55w bulb, not a 35w

i will post some pics soon
This is true but the resistor will get HOT! That is wasted energy being released as heat.... I wanted to save power in the JK as much as possible.

2 things can cause the flickering......

1. flickering can be caused by having a bad ground. This is easily fixed by getting rid of the plug and soldering the wires directly.

2. Or the pulse in the electrical system is causing the relay that controls the bi-xenon bulbs to move to their hi/lo position is turning on and off really fast. This is fixed by applying a a 220pf Capacitor and a 50v diode.

Explained here.. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-electrical-lighting-sound-systems-13/headlight-relay-buzzing-2847/

not sure if my problem is just mine, but i installed a set of HID lights on my truck, they eventually burned out. A tech guy told me the reason was because they require a lot of juice to ignight the gas at their first start up, so preferably when the vehicle is running. What happends on our jeep when you hit the unlock button, the headlights come on. It was the same with my truck. Be ready to start replaceing bulbs and balasts soon. Also, if you look at cars that have HID stock, the hid lights never come on when you unlock the car...they must know something....

I have heard that it will drain the battery quick especially compared to halogen if you are running an HID without the vehicle running.

Default just turn off the light feature.

page 22 of the manual tells how to "turn off the lights with unlocked"...worked for my jeep...wouldn't that solve the issue of the lights always coming on and therefore burning out?

edit: apparently it is impossible to get the car to unlock using the procedure in the manual...you have to get the dealer to do this.

I bought a set of Xentec Hi/Low "Bi-Xenon" HID's 5000K on ebay. They were great, no pulse. I soaked them splashing around in high water and had to put the stockers back in. If you could water proof them they'd be amazing.
