Don't mean to resurrect this thread but I was doing some research on HIDs installs and ran into it.
This place sells a Canbus Fix wire but the site doesn't list H13/9008 as a fitment size.
CANBUS Fix
I already emailed them asking if they have one. I'll post once they reply.

The stock headlight lens are the real issue,, if your going to the trouble of going HID please go for a real set of lenses.. you can put in the cibie or hella h4 lens then get the HID to fit that.. you will have a much better beam spread than the POS stock lenses/headlights..

i just finish the installation of my 6000k bi-xenon Hella HID kit
the canbus fix is way easier to fix than ALL the way i can found here
a 5ohm resistor in parallel do the job , now the computer see a 55w bulb, not a 35w
i will post some pics soon

where did you purchase the HIDs from and was it a plug and play kit just plug it in and do the fix?

the kit is sell as plug n' play but you got to tweak the CANBUS module with a resistor to get the 55w/65w current
i simply put a 5 ohm x 50w resistor between the positive and the ground, and everything works perfectly. no spark , no buzzing
the most difficult part is to find the 5ohm resistor , that takes me about 5 minutes
