Default Anyone experience speakers going on/off?

I recently bought a 2007 JKU Rubi with a MyGig and sub. The sound is pretty good for a stock system, but the speakers will fluicker on and off sometimes. Sometimes it's the drivers tweeter (no jokes please ) and sometimes the whole passenger side. Anyone have this happen with a MyGig? Could it be a problem with the software/head? I'm thinking probably a loose connection somewhere but not sure where to start looking since it's pretty random.

Thanks for any thoughts!

i do believe the JK sound Systems is a 2 ohm system .. if you insert 4 ohm speakers into it, they have a tendency to cut in and out ...or so i have been told ..

That's a very good question .. I had the infinity system in mine and when I installed a set of aftermarket speakers they kept cutting out , the guys at my local Audio shop informed me that my OEM system was 2ohm and either replace the speakers with 2 ohm or replace the entire system ... So I replaced the entire system lol ...

By any chance, do you get a text message or phone call a few seconds after the speaker sound?

Thanks guys. It's all OEM still so no aftermarket speakers (that I can tell). It does have a LockPick installed so maybe that has something to do with it. I updated the software on the MyGig and that didn't fix it so I wondered if anyone else had experienced anything like that. Weird part is that it has kind of moved around. If it were jsut one speaker I'd take that one out and make sure it had a solid connection and trace the wires back .etc, but where it seems to float I thought it could be software.

ETA - No messages or ringing phone after notsoricer, although that almost got me once. I had the phone on vibrate and when a call came in EVERYTHING went quiet

Nope, but my steering wheel controls stopped working and the dealer said if I pressed the horn it would work again, it actually did. Go figure

With My 07 jku x, the factory head unit will go off and then turn on. Not all the time, maybe 1 a month. I noticed this when I'm backing up or just about the go in 1st gear, I think it's when my rpm's drop sometimes when I don't give enough gas??? Engine doesn't stall, lights don't go dim. I don't know what gives...
