If so, thoughts on it? Do you have the Bluetooth adapter? Where did you run the USB cable? Would love to see a pic of the fit, or hear any opinions before I pull the trigger.

I am looking at the same HU too. I found it at Amazon and read so
E of the reviews. There was a heck of a review that told all about it's strengths and more importantly it's weaknesses. Bluetooth was one weakness. Find the HU on Amazon and you will find it, I can't forward it now, I'm on my cell! I still think I'm going to try it, I don't care about Bluetooth. Everything else looks good to me.

Ive got it, and love it! USB is run right into the glovebox. I dont use an iphone, just an ipod. Dont have the bluetooth (softtop) but i did do the resistor mod so i can watch dvds/ipod videos while in motion. Also have the sirius adapter/reciever as well. Headunit functions and sounds amazing, lots of features, and pioneer's ipod interface is second to none.

Adam, thanks for the info! I won't use Bluetooth myself, but will use my iPod/iPhone just for music.

I had this head unit and it was awesome. Try crutchfield.com, they include the wiring harness and all the parts u will need. I also had the switch installed to I could watch DVDs in motion

I do not have the 4300 but I do have the 4200. Pretty much the same headunit just a year older. The fit is amazing and I love the unit. I ran the USB and the AUX input cables into the glove box and I leave my Ipod plugged in all the time. It charges the Ipod while it is on and also you can control everything from the headunit. That way you do have to mess with the Ipod. I also have a rear view camera hooked up to it along with aftermarket speakers and subs. Along with that I have the DVD system bypassed with a relay so that I can watch DVDs while driving. I did alot of research before I ordered it and it seemed the best for the price. Plus you can always add NAVIGATION to it later on if you want. Now from what I remember the 4300 isnt too different from the 4200. I say get it and you will not regret it.

Thanks Rich! I agree the Pioneer looks pretty good, I think I am going to pull the trigger on one! I like the iPod/iPhone hookup and the internal crossover, and Eq. I also want the rear view camera. Do you know if more than one camera be hooked up? I know, goofy question, but I think it would be cool to have a couple of them on the sides to watch going over obstacles.....

I have had the 4300 for about 6 months now, and I love it. What a difference in sound from the stock head unit! I also purchased the bypass cord so that movies could be viewed while in motion (my 2 yr old loves this!), and I also purchased the iPod cord that runs directly into the rear of my glovebox. I leave my nano hooked to this in the glovebox at all times, and scroll through my songs on it right on the touchscreen. I would have liked to have Bluetooth incorporated, but not a big deal. Anyway, look on eBay, I got mine brand new in the box for like $330 shipped. Also fits great into the dash with the double din set up.

Thanks for the feedback folks. The 4300 will go in this week, along with some other components that should make for a nice start on the new sound system.

Really excited for app mode. Why get navigation when you can use the $.99 Motion X nav app right off the iPhone?

Anyone happen to have a pic of the unit installed? I'd love to see the end result. I'm trying to decide which way to go with my wrangler.
