Aftermarket tweeter with crossover
After reading several people say that the addition of better tweeters greatly improved the sound in their Jeeps, I have decided to swap mine out. One quick question though; do I need to use the crossovers that come with the speakers? I am pretty sure that I will go with the Infiniti 1031t, just not sure if I need to use the crossovers that come with them. I have the infinity system now and I'm pretty sure that the Infiniti amp takes care of that already. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

^^ but do you also have the infinity amp? I have the same tweets with the amp and i cut the crossovers out. Works great sounds good. In my opinion the included filters made the speakers sound muddled.

Thanks to all that responded! I ordered the tweeters yesterday and hopefully will have them delivered and installed this weekend. Looks like their is some confusion on whether the crossovers are needed or not, so I will hook one up with and one without and see if their is any noticable difference in sound quality.

2 options.
1 cut out the stock hole with a dremel 2 make the db's fit with the included cup.
2 use the other included cup and put 3 daps of superglue on the back of it and hold it in place until it dries
