Default aftermarket subwoofer install

I have an 08 2 dr with infinity system. I want to know how to put an aftermarket sub in my jeep. I have an aftermarket amp to go with it too. I am not sure what to do

First if your going to add a sub you should replace the head unit. It makes it way easier!!!! Or there are other posts that tell you about installing high level out put converters which create an RCA preout that your factory deck does not supply

I believe a "stepdown" is what u need.

First decide what kind of sound you are going for and what size sub you want along with where are you going to put it. In the stock location?...a stand alone sub box?...custom fiberglass box?....how much power are you going to give it?
