Hey guys. So I have the non-Infinity system in my Jeep, and I want to add some new speakers with a small 4 channel amp to power them. Has done this and mounted their amp where the Infinity amp is mounted, inside the dash? I would rather not have an amp sitting where someone could steal it. Thanks!

 

Would anyone happen to have the measurements for their stock Inifinity amp? That would be very helpful. Thanks!

 

8 1/8 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches thick.

i have mine out and the nito one in, so easy to measure it.

 

Thanks. Thats pretty tiny, is it a tight fit in there or a lot of room? Maybe ill make a cardboard box template to see how big of an amp I could put in there.

 

There's not a lot of room, but someone on the board managed to get an Alpine PDX 5 in there. Haven't heard of anyone putting in any other amp in the stock location though.

 

I'm gonna bug ya' too and ask for another measurment... how tall/Deep is the Amp???????????/
