Default AEV ProCal DRL Options

My previous Jeep was a 2009 Unlimited Rubicon (6 speed). With that Jeep, the ProCal allowed me to select a DRL option (I think it was "European") where all of the lights came on whenever it was running (just like I turned the light dial to ON).

I have played with all of the DRL modes with my new "2012 Compatible" ProCal and my new Jeep - a 2012 Unlimited Sport (Automatic). However, I can't seem to find a similar DRL setting. There is a setting listed as "European" for the 2012, but it doesn't seem to do anything similar.

Is there something I am missing?

That feature (i.e. "automatic headlights") is the sole reason I spent $150 on the ProCal.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

I don't want to say that it doesn't work with the 2012, but I was reading the Quadratec product installation instructions online and it said a couple of the features would not work with the 2012. To my understanding, they have a 2012 version or are at least coming out with one.

I have the ProCal for my JK, and I looked at the ProCal web site.
I don't see the feature you describe on mine or on the web site.
The only choices I see are Low Beams, Fog Lights and Turn Signals.

Previously, you had an option where all the lights came on, as if you turned them on normally? That's the option I don't see.
I have been through all of them on mine, and only the headlights, fogs, or turn signals would come on, but not all of them as would happen if I turned them on with the stalk.

That's right; it worked on my 2009 Rubi.

Does anybody have a copy of the old instructions/explanation?

My copy is from two years ago, and there is no mention of that feature.
I'll go out and program the headlights to be the DRLs, and double check if all the lights come on. I don't recall seeing it back then, though.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it was called European mode.

Six modes

1. Nothing ( American Default)
2. Low Beam half intensity (Canadian Default)
3. High Beam half intensity
4. Fog Lights
5. Front Turn Signals
6. European Mode

European Mode, full intensity low beams and all other park lights are on when
ever the jeep is running.
Last four switch settings are....... up, down, down, down.
