Default Adding Switches

Sound simple not sure. Can you add switches to the bank positions on factory panel?

Not easily. There is a circuit board right behind the panel. You could buy a replacement panel that has all the positions active (expensive) and then change the graphic on the buttons or you could install a microswitch behind the rocker like so.

I had it done by a friend.

Not too difficult and bad as people make it out to be.

Can't type much on phone right now as battery is dying but willing to explain more (as much as I know) if interested.

I've seen guys put surface mounted switches on top of the buttons. There is enough room to squeeze the wires around the circuit board. I didn't care for the look though myself.
