Default Adding factory sub

I need some help. I bought a factory sub off Craig's list for a good deal. I have a 2011 with the base sound system. I want to run the sub off an aftermarket amp using a Loc and the factory head unit. First question can I hook up the loc to the speaker wires that would have hooked up the sub if it had one. They are directly behind the sub. If not can I hook them up behind the factory head unit. Second question the sub has 4 wires going to it, I assume its a dual voice coil. What is the proper wiring for this?

It's a dual 2ohm coil. So you will need to find about a 25 watt per channel 4ohm amp that will do 50 watts per channel at 2 ohms. Or you can combine coils to be 1 ohm or 4 ohms. Keep your total wattage to 100 watts or less. Anything more will probably blow that sub.

I have a small Rockford fosgat amp that is 250 watts bridged and like 50 watts per channel and has 2 channels. Is that going to be to large? I assume if I wire it unbridged I'll be safe.

If it is, just get a new woofer when it blows.
