Default Adding an AMP

So I'm currently working on building a sound system in my jeep. I'm adding two kicker 6x1/2 to the sound bar (polyfilled) and then I've added DVX Polk audio 6x1/2 to the front two speakers (sounds killer). I will also be adding tweeters soon.

My questions is this.....(call me cheap) I want the factor look but don't want to pay Mopar $525 for the factory sub encloser. So what do you guys recommend that will give me a factory look but won't break the bank for an 8" sub?

Also, I'm willing to pay or trade my current No sub encloser (2013 wrangler) for someone who's removed the factory set up to add in an aftermarket system.

Let me know...

The dealer wants $525 for the sub tub? That is crazy. I just yanked my sub tub in favor of going with the base panel so i could have my sub box project nice and clean. Really the opposite of you. The panel was like $95 and the sealt belt backside replacement was $20 (they are different). I doubt the sub version is really $350 more dollars than the flat panel, but I could be wrong. The sub panel has the A/C plug installed so maybe. Sorry I can't sell you mine... It is already gone.

Yes, to buy just the plastic it's $424. With the sub it's $525. What a joke Mopar!!

Try to find someone who has replaced the sub and will sell you their old one. I can't see someone asking much for it.

I'm putting JL Audio 10 inch w6v2 subs in mine. Already have one. Just haven't decided exactly on what I'm going to do for enclosures yet. Likely will make some customs and fit them in the back so I still have a lot of cargo space. The factory subwoofer sucks imo.

Thanks for all the info.....I just love the factory look. I think I might look into aftermarket sub boxes..... Still interested in trading someone or buy the Mopar encloser....
