Default 82212000 iPod interface cable now available

There were a couple of other threads asking about this particular cable and it's availability. As a refresher, this is the interface cable that *will* charge the iPhone 3G and interfaces with the accessory uconnect harnesses. In my case this is all connected to a RES radio.

Six months + one day after buying my JK and ordering the cable, it is installed and working just fine. If you've been waiting for this cable, your order should be in, or will be shortly if you placed one. If you've been putting it off, now you can.

Oh, as for control, no you can't control anything other than the iPod functions. To have it control pandora would take the Pandora folks coding in accessory port control into the app...which would be kinda cool, but not available as far as I know.

I see that you're in Draper, so for what it's worth I got it through Hinckley DCJ, though I imagine the Garff, LHM or any of the other dealers can get them.

Do you mean I can control the iPod through the Uconnect system or from the ipod itself?

Install the cable and throw your ipod in the glovebox. You control it from the nav screen. Mine works great
