Default 7" a-pillar lights

Has any one used the 7" led lights that you can find on e-bay for A-pillar lights? the A-pillar lights are 4" so these would only be 1 1/2 bigger per side.
What are you using the spot or flood light on the A-pillar?

I haven't used those particular lights you're asking about, but to answer part of your question, most folk put spot beams up high. Floods will likely cause quite a bit of hood glare and won't be as effective for driving. However, if you decide to put lights facing to the side or rear (say from a roof rack, tire carrier, etc) then floods up high are the ideal beam because the objective is to light a campsite, repair site, backing where you need to see more around you vs 200 yards down the road, lighting the sides of trails to ensure you stay on the proper line, etc.
