im sure you can find the manual online.. google the sales code for the radio.

(If it was the mygig it would be RER or someting, I dont know what the 6-disc code is)
Although I have been pondering swapping my mygig for a 6 disc for some time.

 

I did found the manual online but nothing about that shipping sequence combo......

 

The shipping lock is in the service manual If that did not work Have you looked inside to see if anything looked out of place It may be worth a look, I just shipped one from FL.To TX. and it worked when it got there may be just lucky.

 

I just recieved one from FL to TX and it worked perfect. Looked brand spankin new too. Some people are freekin awesome.

 

can't find that shipping lock in the manual, I looked inside the changer and everything seems ok . When you shipped yours did you lock it with that code? or did it lock itself ?

Sorry guys, totally forgot last night. I know it's there in the service manual, I'll write myself a little note so I won't forget

 

NOTE: For REQ and RET radios, turn ignition to RUN and press SET + SCAN buttons Simultaneously to place the radio into transportation mode. The radio will display "Transportation" on the display within 5 seconds. If the radio is inoperative or not REQ/RET, skip this step.

I found the problem, here's a few pics in case this happen to someone else.

the ''thingy'' in pic#2 was jammed on that small tab, all I had to do was gently lift it pass the tab and voila!!
