Default 52" sigle row light bar install

Got it done today.

Had to call in my really smart buddy to help me. We had to make some mods to the brackets and other things.

Got it done clean.

Hard to see, but we had to bust out the grinder and re shape the corners.

another view

There was a gap between the light bar and bracket so we used a sawsall then grinder to make a spacer washer

We ground this to make it round.

another look

all powered up and making some adjustments, my buddy jerry

Here is a shot showing my Samford and Sons back yard

Here is the pillar pod installed.

Light on:

So our mod didn't work as planned so we used 2 nuts and a star washer....problem solved. This is the trick for sure

This is the only wire you can see. We got creative and hide all but this 1/2 inch

Head on in the day light

Here is another view of the corner we ground down, it was cutting in to the paint so I used some 3m clear tape and this should work better now

OK OK OK OK SO WHAT.... show us the lights on in the dark,

Ok here ya go.

Fogs only :

Fogs and Head Lights

Fogs, Head Lights, and Light Bar

This is just Fogs and Light bar

I am really pleased with the products I got from Texas Liberty LED, David was awesome, gave me some great tips and great pricing. The Brackets are from Rockslide Engineering. The A Pillar light pod is from Rugged Ridge.

All products were bought through Texas Liberty LED. Give David a shout...great pricing and great support.

The light bar photos don't do it justice. Its incredible...24 10 watt CREE LED's spoot and flood.

21600 Lumens.

Nice!! Just curious, where's the mount from? Most 50" led lightbars and mounts don't need any spacers and mount pretty flush (maybe a washer) seems like a 52" bar would fit even better and not need spacers.

Mounts are from Rockslide Engineering.

There was a gap on either side, only about 1/4 inch.

That's strange. My 50" bar fits perfect on my poison spyder mounts with no gaps or anything. It's a 52" bar and the mounts were wider than that? Was it a mount specifically for a 52"?

how about whistle? Mine doesn't really whistle, it more resonates. How about yours?

great idea thanks for posting.

I am really struggling with the "singing" noise, its not wind its like the fins vibrating...at different pitches.

I got some door edging and cut it up 20-30 parts and it hasn't made a difference.

I went to parts store again and got a roll of door trim for 15 bucks....25 get i think... do the entire top bottom and center fins the cut 4" pieces and randomly place them on the other fins....that should do the trick
