Default 52" light bar whistle - my fix

My cheap fix for the light bar whistle- same principle as everyone else, change the air flow - I went with the old style rubber/vinyl baseboard - $1.87 at Lowes -48" long, black, and has a nice edge - I measured so the lip would extend just past the fins and then made another plain strip to fill the gap for a perfect fit - a little silicone adhesive caulk to hold it in - I put one on the second row on the top with the edge flipped up and another on on the third row from the bottom with the edge flipped down.

No whistle and seems as quiet as it was before the bar was installed...

Nice. I just cut up pieces of 1/4" irrigation tubing and put between the fins.

Man, I hope you didn't waste money on one of those overpriced $1000 rebadged Chinese lights when you could have paid $86 shipped for a disposable Chinese light!

Is that a piece of rubber cove base? I don't want to seem stupid but from your photos I can't quite tell what you did. Could you explain? I want to add a light bar to our JKU but don't want the noise that a lot of folks are apparently experiencing.

I've got a 50" bar, at first I had noise with it installed with some cheap no name pillar mounts. The bar was actually higher than the windshield and stuck out about 2". Sounded like a train horn at highway speeds. Tried everything and never could stop the noise completely. Hated to drive my jeep cause of it. Decided to speed the money and buy some actual Rigid Industries light bar mounts. And all the noise is 100% completely gone!!! The bar is now below the roof line and is about 1/2" away from the center of the windshield.
