Default 430N Upgrade Complete

Just finished this upgrade on my 2012 JKU Infinity Uconnect/Media system to the 430N RHB, what an easy task! It was plug and play as everyone stated, even the phone was programmed & it displays the Jeep logo. The hole job only took 30 minutes.

Nice, I was thinking about doing this eventually, where did you get the unit from?

Ugh. Does that mean a thief can get it out in 20 seconds??? I used epoxy on my last stereo....they did $4k in damage to the 4runner but didn't scratch the head unit or get it.

What did you swap out? I've been thinking of doing this with my 130N.

I swapped it out with the 130 & bought it from OEM Chrysler for $1296. It is the anti-theft model that you need a security code for so I was hoping that would discourage any would-be heathen, even has a jeep for the vehicle on the nav.

when you buy the 430N do you have to buy anything else to get the U-connect to work?

my Jeep has a 130 with the connectivity group so I currently have U-connect, the MIC and the steering wheel buttons for phone., etc. . will the 430N require an additional or different MIC kit when going from a 130 with U-connect?

No, you don't need anything else since you have the connectivity group already. The Sirius antenna runs the navigation and the sat. My phone was already paired to the new unit when I turned it on. It's completly plug and play.
