I would do a fibre glass box around one of the wheel wells in the back it takes up almost no space and it's not as easy to steal like a regular box because it's actually fixed to the vehicle. As for the amplifier you can drill it to the back of the rear seats or you could put it under the drivers seat.

This is my solution, $180 10" pioneer ts swx251 low profile. Fits perfectly behind rear seat in 2 door and only 6" high, so very minimal loss of space, still stack stuff on top of it since its downfiring. Maybe give it a try if you're within a return period or something. Not sure where you got it.

Does that bolt on the that little hidden box that opens?

Default 2 10s

so i have a 2rd rubi, after so long i finally gave in...

i thought the stock sub would be good enough.. after years of having a subs in every jeep/car i just couldnt take the stocker anymore.

so i pulled the trigger and went aftermarket. my brother had like 5 boxs for 2 10s in his storage and it just happens to fit in the back trunk space with the rear seats in.. totally a first for me. i could never find a box for my tj. (didnt look hard)

i actually just installed everything last night. I left the ability to put the stocker back in when i go wheeling. 2 10s is serious over kill.. i think a nice comp 10 with the amp under the passenger seat would be good. still have half the trunk space.. with a long enough speaker wire you can pull the box to access the storage space.

No it just sits on top. Not really necessary to bolt for security reasons, easy to just rip right off. It really doesn't slide much with the 4 little legs on the box. It is a perfect fit behind the seat. However, leave about 3-4' of extra wire to the sub so you can just set the sub on the ground or in the back seat to access your compartment. Only weighs like 20 lbs if that. By no means is it the baddest system on the forum, but it's the best set up ive found space wise and I think it sounds great.

If you're worried about it sliding get those little sticky rubber things from lowes that you put under furniture legs and it will definitely stay put... I don't have a problem with it banging around tho

What type of amp are you using. I saw the pic and I'm thinking of the same sub, but I don't know much about buying amplifiers. Thanks!
