2014 JKUS Pioneer 8000NEX Install - Need Help with existing USB playing music
Hey guys!
I have searched and have not been successful to find the answer to my specific questions.
I installed a Pioneer AVIC 8000NEX (with CarPlay) Head Unit along with the iDataLink Maestro RR and the necessary CH1 Harness for the Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge Models.
My Question is that...
When I plug my iPhone into the existing USB found inside my Center Console it recognizes it and charges my phone as well as lets me start playing Music from the phone BUT I don't get any audio (Audio works fine thru CarPlay, Bluetooth Streaming and Nav)... The song data is there and the Track scrubber is there and it is counting the track time as if it was playing music (just like it should).
I'm thinking it is something with the iDataLink Maestro RR Module.
The reason I am trying to figure this out because i want to be able to use the stock USB port as well...
If not then i want to run my Aftermarket USB to the same location as the Stock (inside center console)
