Default 2013 Sport - Few questions before ordering

I want to replace the crappy HU and speakers in my 2013 Sport without premium sound, but still retain the steering wheel controls.

For the HU I am going with the Alpine CDE-SXM145BT (built in Sirius Receiver). For $170 bucks shipped from amazon you cant beat it.

For speakers, I think I am going to go with the factory Kicker Upgrade Speakers for ease of install.

1. Which harness do I need for the steering wheel harness, I seem to be getting conflicting information.

2. Should I get the KTP-445A - Alpine 4-Channel 45W RMS X 4 at 4-Ohms Amplifier to bump up the output? Will this make a big difference with the kicker speakers? It plugs right into the back of the HU from my understanding. http://www.amazon.com/KTP-445A-Alpin..._bxgy_e_text_y

3. Is there anything else I need besides the HU and install gear, Speakers, and PAC module?

Appreciate the help.

Not sure about the wire harness, but the amp will improve the loudness. I have no amp and a jvc kw6000bt and it is loud enough for me w/o the amp.

according to the best kits website you'll need the following parts
dash kit is the BKCDK644 or BKCDK642(if its a double din)
wiring harnesses are the C2R chry4 and the RP4-CH11
antenna adapter is BAA22

THE RP4-CH11 is what retains factory steering wheel controls and nav outputs if you had the nav deck. Both are Pac harnesses I use to worm at a futureshop its the Canadian version of besting ha ha
BestKits is where i get my info its usually pretty accurate if you need any more info let me know

No doubt get an amp if you ever intend to drive with your top down. For something that is very small, inexpensive and sounds really good, check out the Rockford Fosgate PBR300x4. 75w x 4. Don't waste your money on those speakers. There are MANY that sound 100 times better. Go with Components in the front and coax speakers in the sound bar. Go to a local shop and listen because speakers are personal preference. I prefer the sound of Focal, Hertz, JL all of which can be purchased online too.

Thanks for the input. I will get that amp, it is pretty cheap on amazon.

As far as speakers, would the Polk 6501 components be good for the front and 651 be good for the sound bar with that amp? I also plan to dynamat and polyfill.

X2 on the amp if you drive with the top down.. sound (esp bass) just goes bye bye if you are at highway speeds with the top down..
