Default 2012 stock radio and USB/Iphone compatability

I have a 2012 Rubicon with the RES radio with Sirius Satellite but I did not order the "Connectivity Group" option; can I install a USB interface to play my iphone ipad app through the factory sound system besides using an aux adapter? Thanks!

I am in the same boat. It appears that the connectivity group is the only solution. I have given some thought to running a 3.5mm audio cable from the top storage tray to the radio. Perhaps run a iPod cable to recharge there as well.
