If I had the 730N factory head unit I probably would have built my system around it as well; but I have nearly all the same features on the JVC head unit, except navigation (added MotionX Drive via Iphone interface instead); also has the bluetooth hands-free features as well.

What stock radio do you have? Any problems with the stock unit when upgrading the speakers and amp? Does it need a dealer adjustment to get around the canbus?

I'm curious to which head unit you had too. I have the 430 Nav unit and searching if I can add an amplified bass tube if I get the lockpick... factory infinity sounds OK with hardtop and windows up. Take the top off and sounds like crap IMO.

amp is for the 12" Pioneer Champion series sub only...Badass sub...Hits hard...With the
MTX amps you have a external bass control at your fingertips...Which is cool...

Yes...there are adjustments for brightness/ contrast, etc. as well as screen tilt angle which helps with glare; the best screen quality obviously is with darker ambient conditions; the background colors, text, and softkeys are also user selectable

I see you have the harness for the steering wheels but can you still use, if you have it, the center console iPod/USB port?
Looking for after market, wouldn't upgrade the speakers and such just the head unit
Currently running the 130 I assume, but wouldn't you loose unconnect with an aftermarket? Personally I only use it Bc it's such a pain to scroll through your iPod with just the digital one line screen

But the JVC unit has all of those features, including Bluetooth handsfree phone/ voice calling etc, and I have a Metra steering controls adapter which works fine. You can control iPhone/iPod from head unit, or from steering wheel. Works great!
It also has "app" mode, which lets you display MotionX GPS Drive on your screen for navigation, touch capability ($25 one time fee) and if you jailbreak your iPhone you can display anything on screen with TVOut app.
So if you replace head unit you will definitely want to upgrade speakers as well IMO.
