Default 2011 Jeep Wrangler HID Fog light kit

I'm trying to find out what HID kit I need for my fog lights. I have H13 8K 55w in my headlights. I hear H16 is what I need to get. Which one though 35w or 55w? I really like what I have in my headlights and was going to do the same with the fog lights. Will that cause me any issues? I would appreciate the help. Click image for larger version

I have a set of yellow hid h16 35k sitting on my desk waiting to go on , if you search my threads I did a wright up on how to mod the stock housing to use the h16 or stock bulb , not sure yet if they are direct plug n play ballast , mine are can bus compatible but if the system has an issue withe higher wattage i have wiring harness to direct to the bat, if you can hang on a couple of day I'll let you know.

I'm not sure which bulb that you will need but you will want to go with a 35w kit as the 55w produces more heat and will/can burn through your fog light housing since it is small. If your wanting to try to match colors you will need one around 6k. 55w will wash color out because it has more power so 35w 6k = 55w 8k in color roughly. Hope that helps

Ok last night I installed my 35 watt 3 k yellow in my 2010 with only one issues the oem bulb plugs will not work with the ballast , I broke the original bulbs and sodered the connection end of the bulb to the ballast plug adaptor that came in the kit , I mounted the ballast to the inside of the bumper with some self tapping screws and used a couple of zip ties to keep the wiring kleen and tight,
Fogs are amazing know , sorry no picks but maybe later I will take a night shot.
Later on I will be updating the housing with hella projector s
