Thumbs up

thanks, I've been wondering if there is a silver star equivlant for the psx24w...knowing it's a h16 will make it easier to find.

Bringing up an old thread here...can anyone confirm that the h16 is definitley a reaplcement for the 2010 factory bulb? Based on this thread, it seems to be but no one ever confirmed that they work and don't melt due to the higher wattage.

Had one of my bulbs blow and can't find the stock one anywhere but the dealer.

Thanks!

Ive been looking for a drop in replacement now for a month. Until they make a 24volt H16, we're screwed into replacing the whole gig and adding switches

I replaced the PSX with a 35 watt yellow bulb but had the cut the tabs... since then I had a burnout after about a month .. gotta find a better solution. I may just run a whole new setup with heavier wires to a seperate switch. I hope someone finds a solution soon without changing to those pilot blue-lens ones. They are bright but they're just not my taste with the blue

Just found this on the Sylvania website:

2009 JK Wrangler
Fog/Driving light
9145
9145ST SilverStar: The brighter and whiter light. Up to 35% brighter, up to 30% more downroad visibility and up to 35% more sideroad visibility.

2010 JK Wrangler
Fog/Driving light
2504

So it looks like the new fog lights for the 2010-up JKs have a direct replacement bulb now.

I've been looking for this 2504 for weeks, still havent found it anywhere to be ordered from. I think Sylvania just picked a number out of the air to fill in the gap in coverage!

If anyone has one of these bulbs in hand, please post a pic as to where when and how to get your hands on'em!
