Default 2008 mygig navi system updates?
looking for help, I want to do a update on my radio in my 2008 sahara and i called the dealer and they want ALOT! of money for a update disk, and one know a cheaper better way to update my Navi and the radio section...im sure mine is way outta date by now!

The operating system software and grace notes can be updated for free. However map updates cost money. They are tied to your radio (serial number or VIN) and cant be shared.

You can order the map update directly thru NavTec on their website. I think it's something around $149

Make sure you follow all the steps exactly as written...if you don't it is possible to brick your stereo.
